Hello, my name is Anneli, I work under the name 'Scofinn' made up by my Grandmother as a clear way to describe her half Finnish, half Scottish grandchildren.
I have a passion for colour and simple form which manifests itself in a Mid-century/Scandinavian/Nordic style. My inspiration comes mainly from nature, in particular fruit and vegetables and also from my ever growing collection of retro/scandinavian pots, pans and ceramics!
A graduate of Central St Martins, I have worked as a textile designer and Illustrator.
Nowadays, I host an 'Artists Open House’ both at Xmas and in May as part of the Brighton Festival - last year being nominated in the Top 15 venues, where I show my textiles, giclee prints and products, including freshly baked cinnamon and cardamon buns!
